Greetings from Munnar

Hi everyone! We’ve been forced to suffer the outrage of limited wireless access yet again. After recovering from the psychic wounds that this injustice has left on our souls (barely!) we found a hotel restaurant that was nice enough to allow us to use their wireless while having lunch.

No pictures or lengthy stories today. We just wanted to update people on where we are and where we’ve been. We flew into Cochin from Jaipur (more on North India later) and have been traveling around the state of Kerala  since then. In case you didn’t know, Marisa turned 30 on  this most recent December 4th! We spent 24 hours on a houseboat floating on the waters around Kumarakom. It was magical and special and one of the best days we’ve had so far. We’ll post pics and whatnot eventually. Right now we’re in a tiny town called Munnar surrounded by tea plantations and will be heading to Varkala, a beach town located on cliffs, the day after tomorrow.

We’re hoping that the internet will improve once we reach our next destination and we will be able to finish up our tales of adventure from Agra, Jaipur, Ranthambore, and the first few days in Kerala. We’re thinking of you all and missed you greatly on Thanksgiving!

More soon,

Brian and Marisa
